A day in the life of a veterinary healthcare worker...
I currently work as a vet assistant. I get to take care of some amazing fur-kids. I really enjoy my job. Its ever-changing and keeps things interesting! I have always been drawn to the healthcare field and learned while doing pet dentals that my true passion is dental health. I am currently working towards transitioning from the veterinary field into human dental hygiene. I will miss my furry patients the most!
Animals are the best. Being a vet assistant must be a very rewarding job!

DeleteHow awesome that you have worked with animals and now you will work with people to, thats impressive! A lot of people underthink the dental thing with pets, my partner is super good about brushing our cats teeth but people are always suprised she does that at all. Best of luck with dental path!
ReplyDeleteThats super impressive that she keeps up on her dental care! Im a terribly non-compliant pet owner and don't brush my kiddo's teeth. I give him dental chews and that's about it. You guys will definitely be thankful later when you don't have to shell out the cash for a dental!
